Credit Houses Voice Concern About Illinois’ Fiscal Health

Credit ratings agencies have taken notice of the circuit court ruling last Friday that tossed out Illinois’ law reducing workers’ pensions. But they’re not worried enough to lower the state’s rating.

St. Louis County Police are confirming officers used tear gas to disperse crowds in Ferguson after a police car was vandalized, business windows shattered and gunshots were heard.

Ferguson Protests In Illinois

Dozens of protesters outside Chicago Police Department's headquarters started marching as soon as they heard that a grand jury had decided not to indict a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer in the shooting death of an unarmed, black 18-year-old in August.
