Illinois Moves To Bank The Unbanked Marijuana Companies

Growing and selling cannabis for medical purposes in Illinois is legal, and it's looking more likely that the state will legalize a recreational program as well. But one crucial component that remains illegal is for banks to do business with marijuana-related companies.

Bridge Replacement To Close Bradley Ave. At I-57 For 8 Months

Bradley Avenue will be closed at I-57 at the western end of Champaign starting Wednesday, March 20, for a bridge replacement project that's expected to take eight months to complete. Traffic will be rerouted.
