The She Said Project is partnering with Illinois Public Media to launch The She Said Project Podcast featuring weekly episodes sharing the stories from live She Said shows with a larger audience for even greater impact.

Twenty-five short-form independent films will be available for viewing on all PBS Digital Platforms during the 8th annual PBS Online Film Festival, July 15 - 26.

After three years with The 21st, Niala Boodhoo will be stepping down as the show’s host and executive producer, effective the end of July.

The dinner features keynote speaker Bethany Patten from the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Education and aims to honor early childhood educators along with increase awareness of the need for more investment in Early Childhood Education in Illinois.

Niala Boodhoo, host and executive producer of Illinois Public Media’s The 21st, is one of 17 journalists named as Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellows for the 2019-20 academic year at the University of Michigan. 

During the course of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) Inspector General's audit of Illinois Public Media, the auditor found errors in the way indirect administrative support was calculated.

This new summit aims to get high school students involved in their local elections.

Beyond Opening the Gates: Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Illinois is the latest public radio documentary to be produced from a long-standing partnership between Illinois Public Media and the University of Illinois Laboratory High School (Uni High). 

Submitted films will be nominated to be featured in the eighth annual PBS Online Film Festival.
