Southern Illinois University received more than 345 thousand dollars from the state last year to train a cohort of special ed teachers. We checked in to see how the program is working, and what still needs to be done to address the teacher shortage. 

Then, Iowa voters will head to the polls next week for the primary caucus. Some are still undecided, but what if they didn’t have to choose just one? A group here in Illinois hopes to radically change how voting works in this state. 

And, we spoke with Illinois native Theo Germaine about their big acting break on the recent Netflix series "The Politician."
