Sept. 14-24 or 27, 2015: Southwest England & Paris Masterpieces & Mysteries

Land's End in Cornwall

Join fellow fans of WILL for a custom-designed tour of Masterpiece and Mystery! film locations, scenic drives, historic homes and more. We fly to London, then drive to Devon and stay in a seaside hotel near the International Agatha Christie Festival. A visit to Greenway, Christie’s home and Poirot film location, is included. After Devon, we drive to Cornwall to visit the coastal fishing village of Port Isaac, known as “Port Wenn” to fans of the British comedy Doc Martin. We visit scenic Land’s End and St. Ives, and explore Montacute House and the magnificent Winchester Cathedral. Both locations were used in the filming of Wolf Hall, a Masterpiece Classic production set for broadcast in spring 2015. In Hampshire, we will visit Jane Austen’s House Museum (Chawton) and experience Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) as few visitors can do--in a privately guided tour of the stately home. Take the Eurostar through the Chunnel on your way to Paris--the optional extension planned for our travelers. Review the full itinerary for details.
