Politics News Roundup - April 26, 2024

It's time for our weekly politics roundtable.

To start things off, we'll discuss some of the changes to healthcare law Governor Pritzker called for, that recently passed on a bipartisan vote. We'll hear about the effects of these changes, how much it will cost the state, and opposition to the bill. We'll also touch on his priorities to get rid of the grocery tax, and transfer young adults in Illinois prisons to juvenile facilities, so they can utilize more educational and mental health services.

Then, we'll focus on the Supreme Court arguments revolving around former President Trump's immunity case, and look at updates with the foreign aid package that passed the Senate Tuesday night.
