House Speaker Mike Johnson has signaled a strong opposition to a $95 billion aid package approved by the Senate, aimed at supporting Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Despite the package receiving substantial bipartisan support in the Senate, Johnson criticized it for not addressing border security concerns, indicating a significant hurdle for its passage in the House. The aid package, which also faced opposition from former President Donald Trump, highlights a deep divide within the party and raises questions about the prioritization of foreign aid versus domestic issues like border security.

Meanwhile, Congress is also in the process of working on the next version of the Farm Bill, which is critical for U.S. agriculture policy​
