A Visit from St. Nicholas

Todd Gleason from University of Illinois Extension reading “The Night Before Christmas.” Originally titled “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” the poem was written in 1822 by Clement Moore for his children. Moore is an American poet born in New York City. His “A Visit from St. Nicholas” was first published anonymously in the Troy Sentinel in 1823.
