Edinburgh Festivals 2012: Calder Quartet

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert it’s the first of a four-part series “Edinburgh Festivals: 2012: Year of Creative Scotland”. The Calder Quartet plays Mendelssohn “F minor String Quartet”, pianist Daniil Trifonov plays Nikolai Medtner’s “Three Fairy Tales”, and Gianandrea Noseda, conducts the European Union Youth Orchestra and Edinburgh Festival Chorus in Debussy’s “Three Nocturnes”.
