Salonen Conducts Sibelius: Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Tonight at 7:00 on the "The Evening Concert" on WILL-FM

it’s the Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor Esa-pekka Salonen with music of Sibelius: “Pohjola’s Daughter” and the “7th Symphony”. Also on the program: Lutoslawski’s “Cello Concerto” with Yo-Yo Ma as soloist and Tchaikovsky’s overture “Francesca da Rimini”.
