Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL FM-90.9 pianist Jeremy Denk plays a selection of Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words” on the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. At 8:00 it’s songs from the post-Wagner generation of composers on “Song: Mirror of the World”.

After Wagner

This program illuminates a cultural world living in the shadow of Richard Wagner, and throws light on how a generation of composers responded to him.
