It’s the Chicago Symphony Orchestra featured on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 Yo-yo Ma is the cellist for Shostakovich’s “Cello Concerto No.1” with the

Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen. Also on the program Beethoven’s “Overture to ‘King Stephen’”, Janacek’s “Sinfonietta”, Lutoslawski’s 3rd Symphony, and Salonen’s “Foreign Bodies”.
