University of Illinois’ Jupiter String Quartet on the Evening Concert

This week on the Evening Concert it's the University of Illinois' Jupiter String Quartet: Wednesday night at 7:00

from "The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center" series. They'll play string quartets by Haydn and Beethoven.

We'll also have Debussy's magnificent symphonic suite "La Mer" (The Sea) from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (Monday night at 7:00)

 and Brahms' 2nd Piano Concerto with two different pianists and orchestras:

In a rare scheduling anamoly we'll have:

pianist Rudolf Buchbinder and the New York Philharmonic (Tuesday night at 7:00) and

pianist Nicholas Angelich and the Pittsburgh Symphoyn Orchestra (Thursday night at 7:00)

Wednesday night at 7:00 it's the University of Illinois' Jupiter String Quartet playing string quartets by Haydn and Beethoven, followed at 8:00 by the 2012 Gilmore International Keyboard Festival: music of Stravinsky, Chopin and Ravel's Piano Trio with the Morgenstern Trio.
