Andean folk-influenced indie-pop band Hathaways

Hathaways are a Champaign-Urbana band led by siblings Kate and James Hathaway who are distinct from other indie-pop bands partly through the influence of Andean folk music. The pair have played in festivals in Peru, and they'll do a show of Peruvian music at the Iron Post in Urbana Sunday night, with Kate's mentor, Tom Turino. Hathaways and Tom will play for us live on the Thursday edition of Live and Local.
