Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is a 2011 musical comedy about our seventh president, reinvented as an “emo” rock star. Largely a critical success, it’s being recreated by the Celebration Company at the Station Theatre in Urbana through Feb. 2.

Members of the company will give us some live highlights on the Friday edition of “Live and Local.” And I’ll talk with a member of the award-winning Jasper String Quartet, playing in Urbana Sunday afternoon.
