Irish ballad singer Derek Warfield

Derek Warfield is one of the great Irish ballad singers, as well as a composer and historian of the music and song tradition. He helped to found the Wolfe Tones in the 1960s and now fronts the Young Wolfe Tones, with some of today's finest younger Irish musicians. They'll be at Erin Feis in Peoria Friday night, and Derek Warfield will join me on the Thursday edition of Live and Local. We'll also introduce you to a new local singer-songwriter named Justin Larkin, playing live in our studio.
