Live and Local with Kevin Kelly, heard weekdays from noon to 1p on FM 90.9, will keep you informed about local music performances by performers both local and national. The program will include interviews with the artists, as well as educators, students, administrators and audience members. You'll hear features on the many performing groups throughout our listening area, a daily calendar of music events, and (of course!) lots of music.

On Thursday’s “Live and Local,” we’ll hear a live in-studio performance by legendary Irish uilleann piper Paddy Keenan and singer-guitarist Patsy O’Brien, in town to perform on the Piper’s Hut Concert Series. We’ll also talk with Julie Beyler, director of The Chorale, giving a concert in Urbana on Sunday, and their special guest, composer René Claussen.
