Live and Local with Kevin Kelly, heard weekdays from noon to 1p on FM 90.9, will keep you informed about local music performances by performers both local and national. The program will include interviews with the artists, as well as educators, students, administrators and audience members. You'll hear features on the many performing groups throughout our listening area, a daily calendar of music events, and (of course!) lots of music.

"Leading Ladies," a dance musical dramedy filmed in Champaign, will make its area debut this weekend. Last summer I talked with the writer-director team of Erika and Daniel Beahm just after they wrapped shooting, and I’ll air that conversation on the Thursday edition of “Live and Local.” We’ll also hear singer-songwriter Kevin Elliott, who will perform at the second CU Folk and Roots Festival.
