The University of Illinois Jazz Trombone Ensemble scored an unprecedented double victory by winning the two major competitions in the same year. Under the leadership of Jim Pugh, they'll perform in concert next Tuesday night, and they'll play for us live on the Wednesday edition of "Live and Local." We'll also sample the new TromBari CD called The Devil's Hopyard.
