Live and Local with Kevin Kelly, heard weekdays from noon to 1p on FM 90.9, will keep you informed about local music performances by performers both local and national. The program will include interviews with the artists, as well as educators, students, administrators and audience members. You'll hear features on the many performing groups throughout our listening area, a daily calendar of music events, and (of course!) lots of music.

On the Wednesday edition of “Live and Local,” I’ll talk with Wil Maring, award-winning singer, guitarist and songwriter, who be in Urbana this weekend with guitarist Robert Bowlin for workshops and performances. Also, we’ll hear performances by the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra in advance of their spring concert and upcoming auditions.
