Autopsy Monday For ISU Student Found In Field

McLean County officials are investigating the death of an Illinois State University student whose body was found in a Bloomington field.

Coroner Beth Kimmerling says the body of 19-year-old Yusuf J. Ahmad was discovered Sunday morning around 7:30 a.m.  It was found about three miles from campus.
 
The Oak Lawn native didn't have any obvious signs of trauma, but officials say he wasn't dressed properly for the weather conditions.

The National Weather Service says the temperature in the area when Ahmad's body was found was about 23 degrees, although the wind chill made it feel like 7 degrees.
 
An autopsy is expected Monday.
