Capitol Steps To Perform Saturday At Virginia Theatre

Since they first entertained at a U.S. Senate Christmas party in 1981, the Capitol Steps have become famous for satirizing politicians from all parts of the political spectrum. The Capitol Steps are performing Saturday night at the Virginia Theatre in downtown Champaign.  Illinois Public Media’s Brian Moline talked with Elaina Newport, one of the founding members of Capitol Steps about the group’s history, and why the 2016 political season has been so fruitful for them.
