A University of Michigan Economist is advocating for the elimination of the complicated Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Susan Dynarski recently penned an op-ed in the New York Times arguing that the information required by the FAFSA is already being collected through federal income tax returns.

Dynarski talked with Illinois Public Media's Brian Moline about her proposal to eliminate the FAFSA, and what kind of response she has received.
