On this week's Prairie Performances, Friday at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9: A salute to America’s heritage with a musical biography of the “Dean of Afro-American Composers.” In the second portion of the program we hear a concert with the Millikin-Decatur Symphony conducted by Michael Luxner. The orchestra will feature music from George Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess”, Charles Ives' "The Unanswered.”
