The program was recorded just hours ago in Cambridge, England. On the program hymns and carols like 'Joy to the World', 'I Saw Three Ships' and others.

“St. Olaf Christmas Festival” on “The Evening Concert” on WILL-FM

Tonight at 7:00 on the "The Evening Concert" on WILL-FM, it's the "St. Olaf Christmas Festival". On the program: carols, hymns, and excerpts from works like Aaron Jay Kernis' Musica Celestis, and Vaughan Williams' Antiphon from the 'Five Mystical Songs' performed by the more than 500 student musicians from five choirs and the St. Olaf Orchestra.

At 7:00 it’s a ‘Holiday Special’: “A Centennial Ceremony of Carols: Benjamin Britten at 100” with the New England Conservatory’s Chamber Chorus singing the ‘Ceremony of Carols’ and other works by Britten.  At 8:00 it’s another ‘Holiday Special’: “Glad Tidings of Great Joy” with music by Byrd, Praetorius and others.
