The Evening Concert

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Dvorak’s “Opus 23 Piano Quartet” on “The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center”.  At 8:00 you’ll hear songs of the troubadours on “Early Music Now”, a program that differs from the listing in Patterns Magazine.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Bach’s “St. John Passion”. Manfred Honeck conducts with Martin Lattke as  the Evangelist, Paul Armin Edelmann as Christ and The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Gershwin’s “Piano Concerto in F” with Jeffrey Kahane as the soloist conducting from the piano bench.  Also on the program Milhaud’s “La Création du Monde” and Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.  

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Rossini’s “Overture to Semiramide” and Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet” Overture-Fantasy. Also on the program, Beethoven’s “4th Piano Concerto” with soloist Yefim Bronfman.
