Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear Schubert’s “5th Symphony”. Erina Yashima guest conducts. Also on the program Kodály’s Dances of Galánta and “Novelettes Nos. 3 & 4” by Coleridge-Taylor.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Kent Tritle is the soloist in Saint-Saëns’ “Organ” Symphony. Sir Andrew Davis guest conducts. Also on the program Berlioz’ “Symphonie fantastique” and the Overture to “The Free Judges”.

This week on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 you’ll hear Saint-Saens’ “Organ” Symphony from New York, Schubert’s “5th Symphony” from Chicago, Verdi’s “Requiem” from Pittsburgh, Saint-Saens’ “2nd Piano Concerto” from Beijing, and Sunday chamber music by Beethoven from Lincoln Center and “Fiesta! With Elbio Barilari”.
