In this week’s episode, we are Lisa-less (sad face)...BUT to pick you up we talk about Illini sports as the Big Ten wrestling championships are this weekend and how we had EIGHT teams ranked in the Top 25. Also, we dive into Spring Training for both the Cubs and White Sox, as opening day is less than two weeks away.

Today, we talk to ESPN Insider and Illini graduate John Gasaway about this year’s brackets on who is the favorites and possible sleeper picks in the tournament. Also, we talk about a team not in the tournament… Illinois, as we evaluate Head Coach Brad Underwood’s first year and what the future has in store for the program.

28:30       CONTROVERSY!

The NFL Combine is a place to showcase your talent and hopefully get drafted. It isn’t to answer inappropriate questions from NFL executives. Team Bandwagon questions if these questions decide where you will go in the draft, if they are too personal, and what science is behind them.

34:46        STATUS UPDATE!

Roger talks about the flurry of free agent signings in the NFL and how the Bears have made moves to help the young and promising QB Mitch Trubisky. Brian mentions the departure of now former Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta, his heartwarming message to Chicago, and how one artist said his farewell. Finally, John ends the show in style as he talks about John King’s annual high school All-hockey hair team in Minnesota.

That is it for Episode 51. Join us next time as we look to see what new and hot topics are going around the sports world and more. In the meantime, check us out on Twitter and Facebook!
