Americana band Harpeth Rising

Harpeth Rising are a band out of Nashville in the Americana genre. With four classically trained musicians, they play music which sounds, as they say, "a little bit bluegrass, a little bit folk, a little bit classical and a whole lot of original." Mixing violin, banjo, hand drums and cello with four-part vocals, Harpeth Rising will perform Friday at noon in Urbana, and they';ll play for us live on the Thursday edition of Live and Local.
