Cajun Accordionist Ganey Arsement and Blues-and-Roots Musician Ivas John

The Champaign-Urbana Folk and Roots Festival happens this Friday and Saturday in downtown Urbana, with performances, workshops, storytelling, jam sessions and more, featuring both local and touring musicians. On the Wednesday edition of “Live and Local,” I’ll talk with Cajun accordionist and singer Ganey Arsement. And we’ll meet the namesake of the Ivas John Band, a guitarist and songwriter who plays the blues and much more.
