Clarinetist John Bruce Yeh with the Illinois Symphony Chamber Orchestra

The Illinois Symphony Chamber Orchestra will play in Bloomington and Springfield this weekend, with clarinet soloist John Bruce Yeh of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. On the Tuesday edition of “Live and Local,” I’ll talk with Mr. Yeh about his career in the CSO, about what it means to be an “assistant principal clarinetist” in a major orchestra and about Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Concerto.
