Country-indie music star Kathy Mattea will appear this Friday night at the University of Illinois Research Park. Opening for her will be Ryan Groff, lead singer for the local band Elsinore. On the Thursday edition of "Live and Local," we'll have a conversation with Kathy Mattea and hear Ryan live in the studio.
