Jazz trumpeter Jon Faddis has played with Lionel Hampton, Charles Mingus, and many others and is considered one of today's most virtuosic artists and effective teachers. He will headline Friday night's concert at the Allerton Music Barn Festival, and he'll be my guest on the Thursday edition of "Live and Local.
