Amber Alert for Missing Missouri Man Cancelled

State Police have issued an Amber Alert for an elderly Missouri man, who was seen early Friday morning in central Illinois.

84-year-old Ronald Gamache was seen at around 4:30 AM in Farmer City --- and was previously spotted in Rushville and Macomb.

Gamache is from Clayton, Missouri, where he was last seen by his wife Thursday morning. Authorities say that his family believes he is driving around Illinois due to possible memory loss and confusion about directions --- a situation which would put him in severe danger. 

Gamache is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds. He has been driving a 2014 gold Chevrolet Malibu with the license plate number FL4T8B. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1, or the Clayton, Missouri Police Department at 314-615-6417.
