Annual Taste of Champaign-Urbana Begins Friday

The Champaign Park District hopes you bring your appetite and an ear for music to West Side Park this weekend.

The 47th annual Taste of Champaign-Urbana runs Friday and Saturday.

Motorists near the park need to watch for large crowds and heavy traffic.

Over 50 food, brew and art vendors will be on hand. Also, several musical acts will perform each day.

Chelsea Norton with the Champaign Park District said all are welcome. She added, “We are accepting donations if people want to support the festival in future years, but it is absolutely free to enter.”

The Park District reminds people that pets are not allowed in the park for safety reasons, but service animals are allowed.
