"Hear My Voice" is hosting an open mic event Wednesday on the UIUC campus. Hear My Voice
Do you have something to share about DACA? Or Charlottesville? If you have something on your mind, you have a chance to share it Wednesday at an open mic event on the University of Illinois Urbana campus.
"Hear My Voice" is a registered student organization created by journalism professor Janice Collins to give everyone an opportunity to share their feelings and stories.
Wednesday's event starts at 4:30pm in Room 161 of Noyes Lab on the U of I Quad.
Janice Collins spoke with Illinois Public Media’s Brian Moline about today’s event, and why she started "Hear My Voice" a little over one year ago.
