Jarling’s Custard Cup To Re-Open Wednesday

Jarling’s Custard Cup in Champaign, which closed a week ago as the owners sought new buyers, now says they’ll operate on a limited schedule in the interim.

In a note on their website and Facebook page, Doug and Christy Jarling have announced they’ll operate from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, beginning April 8.

They’ll offer the same menu, but the Jarlings did not indicate whether they have found a new buyer. 

The Jarlings’ initial closure came as a result of their decision to retire in the next couple of years.  They said ownership was taking a toll on their health. 

The Custard Cup location in Danville remains open, with its regular hours.
