Kilborn Alley Highlights “Outside” Concert

The Champaign-Urbana blues band Kilborn Alley headlines the second and final "Outside at Research Park" concert of 2015.  Andy Duncanson and Chris Breen of Kilborn Alley stopped by the WILL studios to play a few songs and talk with Morning Edition host Brian Moline.

Fresh off a tour of London and Germany, the band is looking forward to playing for a local audience at Research Park tonight.  Singer/guitarist Andrew Duncanson says playing outdoors is a bit different than playing in a club.

"You still have to grab people's attention," Duncanson said.  "In a club it's a little bit easier.  You get on the big stage, an outdoor show, and you've still got to try to get across to everybody out there."

The James Jones Trio starts tonight's show at 6:30pm, with Kilborn Alley scheduled to follow at 7:30pm.  Admission is free.
