Missing Peoria Boy’s Body Found In Refrigerator

The body of an 8-year-old autistic Peoria boy who was reported missing has been found in a refrigerator in a yard near his home.

Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll identified the boy as Marquail D. Johnson. She says he was found and pronounced dead at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. The boy was reported missing on Wednesday evening.

Ingersoll says the boy's body was found inside an upright refrigerator in the rear yard of a home just a few houses down from where the boy lived.

The coroner says an autopsy is planned later Thursday.
