Republican Rodney Davis of Taylorville is running for a third term in Congress, representing Illinois’ 13th District.  Wednesday, we heard from Davis’ challenger, Democrat Mark Wicklund of Decatur, on issues including immigration, healthcare, the minimum wage, and trade. Illinois Public Media’s Brian Moline spoke with Davis about those same issues, beginning with his thoughts on the Trans Pacific Partnership.

Davis also says he's open to an increase in the minimum wage, but only in conjunction with tax reform for businesses to help them afford an increase in wages.

Davis and Wicklund face off Thursday at 7:00pm in a debate on WILL AM-580 and FM-90.9, moderated by Niala Boodhoo, host of WILL's daily talk show, The 21st.
