Illinois State Police have issued a snow travel advisory for the Super Bowl weekend. As temperatures drop tonight and rain changes to snow in many areas, they expect wet and icy road conditions. They're reminding drivers to take it slow and watch for emergency vehicles.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 9pm Saturday until 9pm Sunday with a total of three to six inches of snow possible. The forecast calls for rain until Saturday night, when temeratures drop to around the freezing mark. An inch of snow is possible Saturday overnight. Snow will likely continue on Sunday, with another 3-5 inches possible and a high temperature around 35.

As the snow tapers off Sunday night, metorologists expect temeratures to drop to 13 degrees with wind chills between zero and ten above.
