Unit 4 School Board Candidate Forum Scheduled
Seven candidates running for five Champaign School Board seats are invited to the forum, sponsored by the Champaign PTA Council.
Candidates for the Champaign Unit Four School Board will be featured at a candidate forum set for Thursday, March 14th.
The forum, sponsored by the Champaign PTA Council, will begin at 7 PM at the Mellon Administration Building, 703 South New Street in Champaign.
Voters will choose from five candidates competing for three 4-year terms on the seat. The candidates are Laurie Bonnett, Chuck Jackson, former school board member Scott MacAdam, Lynn Stuckey and John Williams III.
Incumbents Stig Lanesskog (the school board president) and Ileana Saveley are running uncontested for two available two-year terms.
Illinois PTA East Central Regional Director Brian Minsker will moderate the forum.
The election will be held April 9th.
