News, Brews & Beatz is meant to provide a space for diverse voices to engage in breakthrough conversations regarding pressing community issues and allow for realistic solutions to be identified. These events are intended to be engaging, informative, and entertaining while also tackling difficult topics and situations in a head on and direct way.
News, Brews & Beatz also features local artists and musicians, with Wednesday’s event featuring a performance by local spoken word artist Missy Richland. This event will also be offered virtually through Facebook LIVE on Illinois Public Media’s Facebook page.
This event will be taped in front of a studio audience and will air across central Illinois on WILL-TV next month, Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7 pm.
