Thursday night May 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s a Deutsche Welle Festival Concert. You’ll hear violinist Augustin Hadelich as the soloist in Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto”. Also on the program the Schoenberg orchestration of Brahms “1st Piano Quartet”.

Karen Gomyo is the soloist in Bernstein’s “Serenade after Plato’s Symposium” with the West German Radio Symphony led by Cristian Măcelaru. Also on the program music of Beethoven, Dvorak, and others.

Igor Levit is the soloist in Mozart’s “12th Piano Concerto” with the West German Radio Symphony led by Cristian Macelaru. Also on the program Schubert’s “5th Symphony” and Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll”.
