Wednesday night July 3 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the first program in a new series from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Igor Levit is the soloist in Gershwin’s “Piano Concerto in F”. Elim Chan conducts.  Also on the program Rachmaninoff’s “Symphonic Dances”.

Wednesday night May 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony. You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “2nd Symphony” and Elizabeth Ogonek’s “Moondog”. Elim Chan guest conducts. Also on the program Prokofiev’s “2nd Violin Concerto” with soloist James Ehnes.

Wednesday night August 30 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Recorded in March and April of this year you’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s lush “5th Symphony” with Elim Chan conducting.  Also on the program Thomas Ades’ “Concentric Paths” Violin Concerto with soloist Leila Josefowicz.

Wednesday night August 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Los Angeles Philharmonic”.  Guest conductor Elim Chan leads the Philharmonic in Beethoven’s “3rd Piano Concerto” featuring soloist Igor Levit.  Also on the program Mendelssohn’s “4th Symphony”, the “Italian” and Elizabeth Ogonek’s “Cloudline”.  

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Patricia Kopachinskaja is the soloist in Tchaikovsky’s “Violin Concerto”. Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla guest conducts.  Also on the program Saint-Saens’ “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso”, Ravel’s “Bolero” and Debussy’s “La mer”.
