ILLINOIS CLASSICAL: The Evening Concert: JANUARY 4 – 5 – 6 – 7 – 8 – 9, 2026 

Wednesday night October 9 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL, 90.9FM/HD1 it’s the second program in a new series from the European Broadcasting Union. Yuja Wang is the soloist in Prokofiev’s “1st Piano Concerto” with the Berlin Philharmonic led by Vasily Petrenko. Also on the program Ravel’s “Bolero”. 

Wednesday night January 4 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the first program in a new series: “Orchestras from the European Broadcasting Union”. Vladimir Jurowski leads the London Philharmonic in Enescu’s “2nd Symphony”. Also on the program Elgar’s “Violin Concerto” with soloist Julia Fischer.
