Deutsche Welle Festival Concerts

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s a Deutsche Welle Festival Concert. You’ll hear the opening concert from last year’s Rheingau Music Festival with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and MDR Leipzig Radio Chorus led by Alain Altinoglu in Mendelssohn’s symphony-cantata “Hymn of Praise”.

Wednesday night February 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Ravel’s “Bolero” as performed by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Alain Altinoglu.  Also on the program, Massenet’s “Meditation from ‘Thais’” and Ravel’s “Tzigane” with violinist Renaud Capucon.
