Thursday night December 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”. Guest conductor John Stogaards makes his Heinz Hall debut leading the Orchestra in Holst’s “The Planets”. Also on the program Mozart’s “4th Horn Concerto” with soloist William Cabalerro.

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week” with an all-Strauss program led by Lorin Maazel.  Philip Myers is the soloist in the “Horn Concerto No. 1”.  Also on the program, “An Alpine Symphony” and “Till Eulenspiegels’ Merry Pranks”.
