Wednesday night January 24 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 you’ll hear Dvorak’s “9th Symphony”, the “New World” Symphony” played by the German Symphony Orchestra led by Marin Alsop. Also on the program Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum”. The program differs from the one listed in Patterns Magazine.

Wednesday night October 11 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the second program in a new series from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. You’ll hear Tchaikovsky’s “5th Symphony” and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Opus 33 “Ballade in  A minor”.  Also on the program Prokofiev’s 2nd Violin Concerto with soloist James Ehnes. 

Tuesday night September 12 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  The featured work is Schubert’s “5th Symphony”. Erina Yashima guest conducts. Also on the program “Novelettes Nos. 3 & 4” by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum”.

Wednesday night August 22 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  Recorded in March of this year you’ll hear the CSO Chorus and vocal soloists in Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana”. Osmo Vanska guest conducts.  Also on the program Rautavaara’s “Cantus Arcticus”.

Thursday night August 3rd at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “Carnegie Hall Live”.  You’ll hear an eclectic program of newer works like “Divided” by Jessie Montgomery, “Tracing Visions” by Valerie Coleman, and “An Ode to Our Times” by Xavier Foley”.
