Monday night September 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  You’ll hear Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto” with soloist Joshua Bell. Also on the program Stravinsky’s “Suite from Pulcinella” and Chen Yi’s “Duo Ye” for Chamber Orchestra.

Monday night September 19 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Joshua Bell is the soloist in Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto”. Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts. Also on the program Stravinsky’s “Pulcinella Suite” and “Duo Ye” by Chen Yi.

Wednesday night September 14 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Los Angeles Philharmonic”.  Guest Conductor David Robertson leads the Philharmonic in Mahler’s “7th Symphony”.  Also on the program from the Philharmonic archives Sibelius’ “Violin Concerto” with soloist Joshua Bell.
